Our Purpose: The purpose of Memorial Presbyterian Student Ministries is to glorify God by partnering with parents to help students (1) establish a relationship with Jesus Christ, (2) encourage students to grow in their relationship with Christ, and (3) equip students to live an intentional life of service for Jesus Christ. Student Ministry Verse: To Prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Ephesians 4:12-13
Ministry Focus: • “Establish a relationship with Jesus Christ”: We long to see students have a relationship with Jesus Christ, living in light of His revealed will. We hope to help them take ownership of their relationship with Christ to create a spiritual foundation. • “Encourage students to grow in their relationship with Christ”: We at Memorial are dedicated to helping students continue their growth in Jesus Christ, by reflecting on God’s Word and walking in obedience to His Word. • “Equip students to live a life of service for Jesus Christ”: We want to help our students understand the need for service in our student ministry, church body and outside the walls of our church. We hope to create in them a light that shines for Christ and a desire to tell the world what Jesus has done for them.
Ministry Goals: Every activity that we do is ultimately to further our purpose statement.
To partner with parents in the growth and discipleship of their child.
To provide an atmosphere of fellowship where all students can feel safe, welcome and a part of something bigger than themselves.
To invite youth to enter into a relationship of discipleship that will strengthen their walk with the Lord Jesus.
To have our students grow in their passion for telling others about the gospel.
For students’ lives to not only deepen in their love for the Lord but to overflow in ministry outside the church.
